| Bad teeth run in my family. My regular dentist Dr. Grant referred me to Dr. Barbanell for periodontal care. I have been seeing Dr. Barbanell for approximately 10 years. During that time, I have had several gum surgeries and four times a year I would see Cindy the Hygienist for deep cleaning. I felt that the "false teeth" time was now approaching. I saw implant commercials on television and gave a lot of thought about affordability. At one of my deep cleaning appointments I mentioned to Cindy I was interested in implants versus false teeth. Cindy told me that Dr. Barbanell was very experienced with implants and she gave me a brochure with their website address. After viewing the website I was impressed by the doctor's 30 plus years of implant expertise. I called another dentist and without seeing me he quoted between $2000 and $4000 per implant. I also looked on the internet and found that an implant could cost up to $6000 each. Dr. Barbanell quoted me less than $2000 per implant. I got the implants: (1) I was afraid of losing my teeth; (2) I love everybody in the office - they are caring, efficient, and organized; and (3) I could afford the cost. | I came in after doing lots of internet research and hopeful but not sure what to expect. Everyone was very nice and ended up getting my implant the same day. It was simple and painless as well. I've had a lot of dental work done and this was one of the best experience I've had. Plus whoever has been trying to talk me into going to Mexico because of how expensive implants are so it's a huge relief to find a reputable doctor doing them for less than half the price.
